Primary School On. Arkansaw Niedźwiedzie is one of the Limanowszczyzna institutions participating in the 10th edition of the "Reflective School" competition. As part of this undertaking, a reflective event took place on Monday.
"The most valuable and durable gift you can give a child is education" - this is the slogan of this year's campaign. One of its main tasks is to provide all students with reflective vests and other gadgets to improve road safety.
On Monday evening, the school became reflective - it was highlighted so that it was visible from afar. "With this idea, we want to emphasize the importance of safety and attract everyone's attention to the promotion of wearing reflectors. Our joint actions on road safety will be continued not only during the competition," says Joanna Cichańska, school coordinator of the competition.
On the eve of the liturgical memorial of St. John Paul II, participants of the event gathered at a joint meeting in front of the school to remain in the rays of the illuminated building at the moment of vigil and joint prayer led by Fr. Dominika Woche. - Students dressed in reflective vests with reflective tapesurrounded a light rosary, invoking the intercession of St. John Paul II through prayer with the tenth Holy Rosary and the memory of all the saints of our patrons. The campaign was preceded by very good cooperation of people actively involved. Finally, we sang the Jasna Gуra Appeal, directing our thought to the message of Saint. John Paul II - "Totus Tuus Mary" adds Joanna Cichańska.
Children and their parents came to this event in large numbers right after the rosary service at the local parish, which they always attend with the rosary and a reflective material element attached to the sleeve. The initiators of the undertaking were children and young people who actively cooperated with their guardians in promoting Papal Day and road safety.
